hi can anyone help me my timeing belt has gone im in need of a run around with some tax and test and that is cheap not botherd what engin size it is u2u me with details of even better if anyone knows some one selling or giving away a 1.4 16V engin would be a better option so i can chnage my engin must be a running engin

how bad is the damage? how fast where you going when it snapped. could probs strip head, get new vavles for not much, new head gasget, water pump on and new timing belt for less than a cheap run about?

it has damage all the pullys and bearings but iv got an engin to go in mine now so it will be a 1.6 16V insted of a 1.4
