Have had calls in from 3 different companies in the same trading estate in Egham, Surrey

All their lines are down (except phones).. turns out some pikey has come along in the night.. dug up the road and stolen the cables. presumably for the copper or something

thats balls on a big level

I was round my mates a couple of weeks back having a bbq and could hear a stihl saw going all night, turns out that some pikey was knicking railway tracks at the old pit.

yeah they do it all the time. i got called out to work a month ago due to a power cut. when i called our leccy provider i was told that the power went off because some pikeys broke into the substation so they could nick the copper cable. the breakers tripped because they bust open one of the switches. i asked when we were likely to be switched back on and was told their engineers were on site but they had to wait for the police to turn up and clear the pikeys away as they were threatened with weapons when they came out to turn the power back on.

Pickeys need to be stabbed to death. Awful people yet they can do what they want.

Whats this law about they are legally allowed to stay for 2 weeks before they get moved on?

We had some, stayed for 2 weeks, and we had to have a £4,000 clear up bill :@

My missus' dad who lives here has a villa out in remote Spain, and other than for 4/5 weeks a year he's there, no-one is in it.

A couple of months ago thieves broke in, and instead of going for the large HD TV, his wifes jewellery, sofas, and anything else highly expensive, they stole his Antonio Banderas aftershave, an aussie straw hat, and a toaster.

So if anyone is going to spain soon and happens to see a man smelling of antonio banderas aftershave, wearing a straw hat and carrying a toaster, U2U me when you're back and I'll tell him.

my grandad is the the warden at his local church and somebody keeps robbing the lead from the church roof. it must be worth something because it costs thousands to replace it every time they rob it. the original stuff is likely to be 600+ years old too

Yeah, lead is worth good money. My dad does leadwork when doing windows / consevatories etc etc and used to keep the little offcuts that'd usually be binned. Filled a bucket over time and got like £30

In the paper ages ago there was a dockland that was being done up to look nice, over night someone stole about 100m of the brand new designer fencing along the water side...... all they done was un bolt it all.

They replaced it but welded the bolts on

Someone might find the article, cant believe how much they took!

I had a Pikey come into my shop.
He proceeded to go outside for a piss.
Spotting a car with the rear window open, he decided to take a piss straight into the car.

Upon confrontation with him, telling him I've caught him on CCTV doing what he did, he denied it all the way up until the point of me showing him on the screen.
Even then, he laughed and told me "its against my religion to tell the truth, i'm a pikey"

true story

Worked with an engineer/electrician once who inturn worked in South Africa, said he would get called out to go scrap people off electricity pilons where they have electrocuted themselves to the metal whilst trying to nick the cabling. Apparently the smell was horrific.

I've seen them on top of garage blocks having the roofs off for the lead.

They do have their uses though, £1800 GT pushbikes for £70. Brand spankers.

Yeah he said he smelt a bit like burnt crackling Although it makes you wonder why someone would shimmy up a 3/4 story pilon carrying thousands of volts and then start beating at the cabling with a leaf

There is a lot of new builds being stripped of their final fixings just before they are completed at the moment. If they want it they will have it
