well i've finally passed my theory test today.
My boss is payin for my driving test and he thinks that i will have to have insurance of my own to cover the car im doing my test in, but im 99.9% sure you dont.
do you just have a lesson before, then go to driving test centre, do your test then thats it?

You need insurance, its statutory, your instructor will be insured, if you sue your own car you wont be insured unless you have a policy, take this with you and make sure your car is in top condition or you wont be allowed to participate in your test.

just to add m8 befor you can drive your car home after your test if u pass u must inform your insurance that u got a full uk license or you can not drive back and u will find your insurance will go up m8 if u need any more help just u2u me as i work in car insurance

yeah i know i needed insurance for my car lol, but im not doing my test in my own car, im doing it in the Test Centre's car. there is a load of cars that you cant do your test in and one of them is a Corsa B, but would rather do it in one of the Test Centre's cars lol. Cheers lads

bad point is you not aloud to drive back in the instructers/test centre cars

thats abit shit like, ah well, just wait till work the next day and get on the works insurance  drive any car aslong as it "Business Use" lol
