anyone ever fitted an oil cooler to an c16/x16/x14? was considering it but couldnt find a sandwich plate, anyone any ideas?

Why are you getting hot oil? I would address that issue first. I have removed the oil cooler from mine as it isn't needed. Make sure your engine is free from sludge and the oil pump is working well. Thought about changing to semi or fully synthetic oil instead?
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

in all fainess it was just an idea, have one sitting and was going to fit an oil pressure gauge so thought why not lol

Unless you are turboing it then don't bother. It needs to be warm to work properly. If you cool it too much then it won't be as effective.
