Yeah, tiz the old door card. What I'm hoping for at the end of it, is one full door card instead of two pieces. Depends wether or not it'll all hold together. Time will tell. It is pretty sturdy at the mo tho.
More pics to come when I get a bit further.

it should all hold together, just keep on slapping on the P40 and itll be fine! That and screw the builds to the cards in a few places, it shouldnt come loose.Looking well godd though at the mo.
Ive just spent 2 days helping a mate build his dash with a screen in it(on a clio). Its just come back from the trimmers and looks better than factory look in red vinyl.

Thats what I'm after at the end. A quality piece of work for peanuts. When I rung a company for a quote on custom door builds they said around £750 but probably more than that when I told them what I was after.
If it all goes to plan, it will have cost me about £50 to make.
Also, the pride of knowing you did it yourself

£750, fcuk me thats a lot, we mustve saved a fortune what with his dash, my dash and my headrests. Normal headrests screens are £200 each for fitting, i had to make the mounting moulds and everything, Probably cost about £400 per headrest how ive done it, and £200 for my dash, then about £700 for my mates dash, thats about £1500 saved through DIY,

In total, inlcuding leather, all the equipment (TV, speakers, subs, etc etc), £6k.
Which when you look at what shes got, its bloody good. Esp when a VW dealer will charge u £2k for heated leather recaros.
