Good choice on the products
How much did you pay for those cloths out of interest?

That's not really big, shampoo clay and wax are basics.
Costco have 24 microfibres for £12 I think it is, well worth it.

The lube is good stuff It's cool that you don't have to dry the car off as well, so the water can help a bit too.
I keep my microfibres in a sealed plastic bag Keeps them clean

Hopefully my CYC order will arrive ready for the weekend!
Shame DoDo Purple Haze is the worst smelling of the DoDo range (In my opinion) but it works really well!
7 Microfibres just isn't enough though, more products you buy you just keep needing more and more microfibres, fill the washing lines when you hang them out is what you need

Yeah I seem to be ordering at least 1 Chem Guys drying towel a month as they don't seem to last very well IMO.

the microfibers came free with the purple haze actually! the drying towel was £13 i think
in the next month or so im taking the plunge and getting a dual action polisher, cant wait to get rid of swirls.
and Dan you're right I was expecting it to smell as nice as the other two dodo things but it's not that nice actually!

I don't get this dodo juice bollocks. Why the big craze all of a sudden to use all this crap.
In my day it was Turtle wax wash'n'go and if you had paint swirls then a squirt of G3.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Yeah Autoglym gift set for christmas was always a nice surprise!
What really astounds me is people spending all this money polishing a 15 year old car that spent the first ten years of it's life doing the school run and the weekly shop, getting an automatic wash once a month and left sitting under a tree all year.
Bonkers.

I have to agree I'm afraid. For the untrained eye (which is about 99% of the population) most people wouldn't tell the difference on passing between a massive 'detail' and a quick wash and polish!
£5 wash at Asda followed a quick polish FTW!! lol

Exactly, even down to buying fancy drying towels when you could just go down the local cash 'n' carry and buy some great big soft beach towels for a quid. I love it when people buy into gimmicks and believe something is better because its more expensive.

Agree'd I like to notice the difference when I look at it, doesn't matter if people notice how long it took or not.
