I thought there would have been a Wimbledon thread on here already. Anyone watching Murray? He had a very poor start to the match but he's right back in it. 1 all in sets and theres been a few fantastic rallies!

yeah ive been following him since it started. keep flicking between U21 final which were 1 down to the krauts btw.
all this pressure was taking its toll earlier in this match but hes coming back strong.

That was a fantastic game of tennis!! Would have commented earlier but I've been playing footie manager! Both played some quality tennis! I'll be watching out for that other chap in the future. Seemed an awesome player!!

I backed him to win the tournament at the start and just laid it off this morning for a risk-free win however he gets on.
Funny thing is, (most) british people seem to complain we're crap at sports, yet whenever we get someone who is actually good, loads of people don't like him
Not saying you have to like someone just because they're British, but just strikes me as strange.

It's one of the worst British attitude traits to cheer on a triumphant loser e.g. Tim Henman. When there is a guy with a cocky and arrogant side, which is well warranted, they start to get tentative about him.
