If nothing went wrong with my XE for a few months I'd start to get worried. I'd start thinking, something is going to go massively wrong anytime soon!

I think 99% of XE owners have a love hate relationship with them!

I replaced the entire top end, i thought, everything would be ok after that.

A gearbox and 2 clutches later....

Probably down to my aggressive driving though

You wank and relieve yourself of the daily stresses. Engines can't do so

So what your saying is, if i can find a way to wank my engine, everything will be fine

This doesnt explain why Wankels are so unreliable

Yes exactly that. And Wankel engines have over wanked and burnt themselves out. No one wanks as much as a wankel engine.

I have had the whole top end rebuilt on mine and piston rings and shells done on the bottom.

Why is it always the wee cheap replacements that always cause a fortune to replace. Like a £12 oil seal is going to cost about £100 in labour

Having an XE is like a woman!

Great when it works out well, and very fun to enjoy.... but will always give you aggro at some point, and quite a lot too
