Does anyone know of a UK firm that can do a rough powdercoat finish? I've seen some engine parts a while back with it, can't remember for sure where though.
The finish has a kind of satin but rough textured look - anyone know what I mean?
Thought it might have been on that super clean Golf with the 599 seats?

But the Teflon is apparently "self cleaning" too, stops dirt sticking to the engine the same way that it stops your eggs gluing themselves to the pan.

Have you found a company Ash? Looks pretty interesting, wouldn't mind getting a few bits done on the corsa.
Let me know if you do mate

Nope, still looking for somewhere with pics of the finishes.
It's from the Golf Rallye that Murray's mate owns, must be somewhere in Scotland that does it...

This is the project thread for the golf. I've not read it all the way through for a while, but it might mention where he got it done.
