Well trying to get into my local uni to do digital media specializing in photography but due to me not having relevant qualifications ive been set a 2 month brief which to be honest is going to be damn hard imo.
Got to have 10 good shots in a similar style to Arthur Tress 
I will do it though, one way or another

after a quick scout on google images i still cant see much trouble you will encounter infact looks pretty good. would be easy to copy them in a way imo, but depends as for interperating them and then making your own its a bit more dificult but still shouldnt be too bad. may have to give it ago myself after i have done neos challenge he set me

tbf i have got one of them to model for me but thats only becuase its a picture of her legs and not her face other wise she wouldnt of.... although ages ago she said she would but it was her bf that was stopping her

dont copy his images, add your own twist to them. Look as his stuff, like go to a library and try and get a couple of his books out, they will like that.
Looking online a lot of his images seem to be really contrasty subjects or subjets out of their natural enviroment, like a model dressed as half a bride and half a groom and a load of turtles in a womans bedroom. There is loads of stuff you could do, you need to get creative and just let Tress inspire you.
I love stuff like that, i might have a go as well

Yea ive got a few idea's Adam but just need to find the locations and people to suit.
Going to be an interesting one, just hoping i can pull it off.
Going to be a very steep learning curve i think lol.

If you have the choice of shooting on a film camera then I would do this too, I think using a film camera would impress them and also film gives black and white images a better look than digital in my opinion.
