remember when the veyron came out, they said it could go from 0-200 in a quicker time then the mclaren goin from 0-120, judging by last sundays programme, id say that not to be the case as the mclaren wiped the floor with the veyron up to 160?!

if you read top gear mag, it stats that they weren't allowed to use "launch" on the veyron.... hence how close it was and the veyron not doing the 2.9 0-60 or whatever it is

If they launched the Veyron properly the Mclaren would of been in the Veyrons rear view mirror earlier than it was. The Veyron came steaming past it

with 300 odd bhp more then i would say the veron should have gone past it quicker than it did, with a W 16 sitting in the back and more torque it should ahve left it fr dead.. and to think its taken 17 years to make a car do 10mph more than the F1 and it has every electronic trick under the sun... still think the F1 is better tho personal preferance

mclaren 636bhp 1140kg =1.79 kg /bhp
bugatti 1001bhp 1888 kg=1.88 kg /bhp
plus drag co 0.32 mclaren against 0.36 bugatti
no wonder the mclaren takes off in the early stages has to get to mega speed before that 1001bhp starts to make the difference
