We had a leak in our apartment about 2 months ago now, which leaked into downstairs flat, not heard a dicky until today with a letter through the door saying their hallway light hasn't worked since. We do know it tripped the lights when the water seeped through.

Looked at the switch board, and everything is on, power sockets work etc. Did the obvious thing and changed the light bulbs and nothing.

Anyone know what it might be?

Anything else i could try before calling out an electrician?

I'm not very good with electrics mind!

If your not very good with electrics, leave it alone and get a sparky out to have a look

depends on the type of fitting but could be the transformer or it may need a new ceiling rose. Best to use an electrician to make sure its done properly
