Alot of aftermarket kits don't fit perfect straight away you need to do abit of work to get them on.

lol aliba, obviously aint brought many kits before. most of them dont fit properly, are poorley made, for the wrong car blah blah blah and basically need a ton of work to fit and get looking right. very very rare will you find a kit that bolts straight on.,

aha thats where your confusion comes from, when you get your "unpaid" bumpers they've been freshly ripped from another car and probably had all the mounting brackets ripped off with it. try fitting a new bumper. (lol only jokin with ya not callin u a theif life - pikey bastard)

Work could be anything, Ive brought some before which was just a mould of the bumper, the edges needed smoothing off, needed to fibregrlass mounting brackets to them, had to filler some of the bumper where it wasnt smooth etc etc.

just as an example mate - my PSG combat 1 front bumper came without any kindas of mounts. It wasnt even the rite shape. So the answer to ur question is, Yes, on the whole, bodykits are time consuming to fit and hard (unless ur a pro).

Some of the better quality kits (Lexmaul, Irmscher, Steiny) are made from Plastic and feature all the mounts in the OE positions and are near enuff a straight swap.

Fuck the pikeys!!!!

Didnt realise that kits could be so off.
Looking to get a panique front bumper, havent decided about rear yet, but kind of confused as of where to get them, so that the work is shall we say, minimalised?. Cheers
