hello everyone. i'm thinking about stripping the rear of my car out to save weight. before i do it i just wanted to know if its worth doing it?

if you want to save weight then its worth doing.

what benefits will it give to you though? the amount of times i have 2 mates going somewhere and can only take 1 is annoying.

Tbh, it depends. What kind of car do you have? If it's a 1.0 12 volt then really you won't see a difference.

I took the spare wheel out of my 12v and I could feel a slight difference from just that, so seats would do more.

biggest difference i noticed was removing the rear speaker wiring from the car loom tbh.

But you're not seeing my point. It'll make a difference, but it's still as slow as a one legged asthmatic blackpool donkey!!

I was reply to 3lfz mate, not you

And I would of, but my old1.0 12v kept throwing up the EML so didn't have a chance to go for a 10 second pass.
