noticed alot of wasps going under the roof tiles. And now the bottom of the cone has appeared through the ceiling tiles inside

Must mean that its a good 40cm tall and god knows how wide.

Yep spray it with petrol and light it.......you'll burn the shed down too but the wasps will be gone.

Ive got rid of a few in one of two ways.

Fire, and water.

Most of the time I'll set fire to it in as many ways as possible. If I cant, I'll get a hose in there and leave it running for a few hours, then beat the shite out of the nest.

You got a barbeque? empty the shed, put the barbeque in with plenty of coal/wood and smokey stuff to force them out.

Ou neighbours had one in their attic once. They got pro's out to sort it. They covered it in a huge bag and pumped gas into it. it killed them all. Then they just cut the nest down and job done. Inside was the most horrible thing i've ever seen. It was just packed with millions of dead wasps.

We had one in our shed that they had just started to build. Poked it with a stick, got stung. So went for some ammunition the good old wasp killer spray, ran in the shed sprayed like a mentalist ran out and shut the door. Opened it up after about an hour. Knocked the nest off the wall. Sprayed some more on it. Job done

Smoking them out will get rid of them.

Smash their nest to shit once they are gone, and try to block up any holes and you may be lucky and not get them back.
