i liked the spax adjustable shocks with springs on my gsi. but im sure you will get 80% of people saying get 80mm springs or something stupid.
coilovers would be good, but imo a little bit overkill for the road.
so id say a decent adjustable shock/spring with maybe 40-50mm drop.

Something like the spax or even a koni set of coilovers would be best to be honest, normal suspension kits probably wont hold the weight too well up front and cheap coilovers will be even worse than a spring and shock setup.

why wont the adjustable shocks not manage? coilovers have a little bit more adjustment and mainly lower the car further
