Open an account with an investment bank if you're prepared for a bit of risk.

Actually, that's probably not great for 4 months. You would have to pay an account opening fee, an account closing fee, and any transaction fees.

cant take any risk as its for a house deposit. I just want a decent rate for a few months as my bank account gives like 0.1% interest

I think you will struggle TBH.
Any account with a decent rate will either be an ISA with a £3600 annual limit or some crappy regular saver account with a £250 monthly limit.

Yeh but for 4 months, chances are you'll up with a big fat zero.
Especially considering they effectively track the interest rate which is rubbish at the moment.

If you got your £1.50 back for each one that failed to present a return then yes it'd be a similar idea. Currently it's just a sarcy comment.

If im right with interest calculations, which im probably not, i make it around 75 a month at 3%
Id rather bung it in premium bonds and risk 75 for a bigger win, but then i am a gambling man

Would be roughly £300 over 120 days so you're more or less right.

Is there not like £40 Billion invested all with even chances of a pay out?
Theres probably a very high chance i'll get feck all in the 4 months & a very very slim 1 in 10's of thousands chance of winning anything over a grand
At least the 3% interest £300 or whatever is guaranteed!?

Or failing that, if you've found somewhere that gives 3% a day, week, or month then please let me know.

Forgot the investment was only for 4 months.
I used the same website that I used for my savings and I did all my calculations for the whole year

Yes, and he quoted us too.
I don't know how I could live with myself if the users of a Corsa forum questioned my intelligence
