Seeing as we get so many tyre threads, I'd like everyone to rate their tyres and I'll make a thread in FAQ.

I'll start with the tyres on my cars

Toyo Proxes T1R.

Dry performance 4/5
Wet performance 4/5
Durability 3/5
Value 5/5

Yokohama A539

Dry performance 4/5
Wet performance 2/5
Durability 3/5
Value 3/5

Lets get a nice database of tyres up there to help people choose.

If you mark them out of 5 then I'll average up all the reviews of the same tyres.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I found the proxies T1R ran out far too quick! And the A539's just never seem to run out. But agree with what else you said tbh.

Eagle F1's

Dry performance 4/5
wet performance 4/5
durability 4/5
value 4/5

Would recommend those to anyone. Perfect tyre!

Suprised to see people rated T1R's as highly as Rainsport 2's

From what I've read the Rainsports are a big improvement on the T1R's

Is value what it costs or value for money as for the wanli it doesn't cost much but value for money is low as they are that bad.

i think you really need to state what car as on a corsa i would rate the eagle f1's but on the integra the side walls are too soft so ruines the handling, so i would say Hankook RS2s

Cheers MJ
