After months of searching, im eventually going to see a Nelli tonight.

I've got my eye on two at the moment. A rare (33 in country) Yellow pealesant RS model, over my budget, but I can only see it going up in value. Bad points are it has a couple of scratches, and the bike shop who sold it from new have maintained it, and are known in the Benelli world for being a bit cowboyish... So are there hidden issues.....? But 33 in country!!! Rare factor...

And the one im going to see tonight. Ironically, its actually my Dads OLD Tornado. He sold it last year for his MV Aug and its back up for sale with only a few hundred miles more on the clock. I know the history, all the parts, it has some carbon goodies, the titanium exhaust I wanted (so most of the aftermarket parts I want), and its up for £1k less than daddy sold it for. Im going straight after work on a jolly jaunt with daddy to go have a look at his old girl, and it could be coming back to the family.

If its still as clean tonight as it was when he sold it, then i'll be putting a deposit down tonight

Ouber excitment for me. Bikers on here will know by now how much of a lame geek I am with my Italian bikes, so may understand my excitment right now. I've been waiting like 2 years

Will she come home? I will let you know later.

THE actual bike.

Yellow one looks like....

Fans are ouber cool, its to keep the front area thinner due to not having the rad there (3 cylinders so thinner engine).

Green one is just visually spunk spank spunk (for me).

Yellow RS model is kitted better, Radial Brakes (brakes connected with beams to the forks, check the difference in the way the calipers are connected), it comes with magnesium wheels, slipper dry clutch, weighs a bit less, its the more "modern kitted" bike, but the older one will still be fine for the road, or non superbike rider

Good to see that you're going for it mate, I remember chatting to you about these on here.

I can see your dad muscling in on the riding of it though...

The yellow and black looks miles better imo, i think it is because the seat part fits in with the colour scheme more than it does on the green and silver.

Damien bough himself a new toy Collect her Saturday.

Dad also gave me a brand new 1 piece leather set as well he doesn't use anymore. He last used them actually on THIS bike, so talk about fate.

Old man said he believe in fate on the way down, I talked about getting another one soon, this bike came up that day and he messaged me it.

Destiny??

Sorry, im rather giddly, i've been waiting for this for so long. Deposits been put down.

I get original exhaust, rear footpegs, standard plastic mudguards, keys, cat 1 alarm, carbon goodies, titanium exhuast, all updates and recalls done.

Fucking WELL happy

Off to the bank in the morning to get the moola to pay.

He has a carbon fibre'd, magnesium engined, quick release loomed £24k LE (limited edition of 150 worldwide) version. Looks very similar, but has top spec Ohlins suspension etc, so he'll be on that.

But well looking foward to going on rides with him. Bloody posers we will be

Edit...

FREAAAAAAKYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took this picture, whilst the bloke i've bought it off came over my dads to look at it!!! He had the same shoes today, was wearing a white t-shirt, and black jeans!!!!!!!! My Bandit, and new Nelli far end, with LE closest!

Freaky sh1t!!!!
