Alrite ppl, I need sum much needed insurance advice. I got the money to turn my 1.2 shitter into a 2ltr 16v monster but i aint got a clue wat the insurance is gona b like. i aint got much else on me car and im only 18, so does ne1 hav ne idea?
wat kind of prices r u lot insured on wiv ur 2ltr's?
i need sum examples of different ages and types of car etc

its all different depending on your cercumstances, why dont u just ring up some places for quotes?
if your 18 u may as well think again, it will be huge.

just as a guide, my mate is 19 and has a clio cup, he pays 1800 quid and has 2 years no claims.

i am 22 with 2 years NCB and i pay 1500, but also thats like for like cover (if i crash they will fit my kit engine etc etc) and i have the worst post code in the UK OL8......

ur better off getting a 2.0 conversion when ur a couple of years older so then u can get ur no claims up

just dont insure it !!!!! u will only get caught if u go and crash it real bad, but just keep your insurance at the moment so that u can prove u have insurance on the car they aint gonna check the engine just as long as the insurance matches the car u should be alright.

That's not a typical quote. I paid £1200 f/c when I was 21 on a 2.0 16v Corsa. That was also 3 years ago when insurance was a lot cheaper.
