From what I've read it's going to be done throughout the summer with the older boxes (Thomson I think) being done first. I've got a samsung box which hasn't had it yet but wasn't going to worry about it unless I haven't had it in a month or so

My box is fucked because of it, the writing is also too small to read now and Sky wont bloody fucking fix the shitting piece of crap

The menu background on my standard box has gone all ski-whiff...has been like that for a while.

we've had about 5 different boxes over the past couple of months, as they kept freezing etc. Most of these were Thompson boxes that had the new planner thing on. They all ran really slow and were very unstable. We've since had it replaced by an Amstrad box with the old planner and its great, the picture quality appears better (not sure how?!) and it hasn't crashed/frozen once, lovely...

so is that HD only or all sky? i think my HD box is a samsung so thats why i dont have it yet i guess? does it take long to install? does it do it through the satalite?

I called SKY last night to inform them I am moving and might be cancelling. They offered me at my new address a free HD box and install for only £30.
Anyone know of any better offers?

Haven't heard of any. I got a free install and had to pay £50 3 months ago when I threatened to leave and upgraded to HD

SKY are a bunch of retards.
They send me a letter saying my HD box is broken, something to do with the pace of it.
So they send me a new box and that turns out to be even more fucked than the first one!!!!
Then I call up and need to wait two weeks for another bloody new box and they tell me it might not even be a new one when my first box was new in the first place!!!
All in all my first box had the new sky card set up and they replaced it with an old crappy one!
