Do's and dont's ? what should i be asking for prep wise ?

Do - only powder coat the outer surface (the bit you see when you open the bonnet)

Don't - Powder coat the underside or it shall fuck your engine right up.

Prep wise, I'd have thought just key up the surfaces.
