Hello I no a few guys on here are into this and have some really nice setups so though I would ask.
I am looking to get a new surround sound system, at the moment I just have the TV speakers but need something better now.
I have my TV with Xbox in HDMI 1, PC in HDMI 3
PC has 7.1 surround sound.
What setups can you recommend me to get. after 5.1 or 7.1 not that bothered about the 7.1 though.
Thanks

Not to sure realy, not planning on breaking the bank with it but if it can do alot extra i would pay for it.
Probably form £250 up to about £800

My setup was a similar price, ive got an Onkyo 606 with Kef eggs, i love it, eggs are brilliant but some people do not like the look of them, match with some good quailty speaker wire and you will be laughing.
In terms of an AVR i would look at the Denon 1909 and the Onkyo 607 or 606, that will leave you a few pennys for speakers

Look at the Denon AVR-1910, nice amp for the money with Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD.
Wouldnt bother with 7.1 unless you have a huge room to fill, 7.1 isnt supported by TrueHD and DTS HD anyway.
