Had a porch half built, builder has made a right hash of it, had to sack him off the job. He hasn't built it square, the lintle is supported by one inch either side of block etc etc
He has used stone dust and cement to make the footings, rather than 20mm to dust so its basically just dust and cement, any builders on here can confirm this is unacceptable?

Well you need atleast 6 inch of lintle support AFAIK, has he even put a membrane in?

He might not need so much of a found on the off chance that the ground is solid enough as it is.
I was once on an extension where no found was required at all due to the house sitting on rock!
