Taken is good, but not amazing very actiony though.

GT is a good film, but no action and scarcely any cars in it

It has some bits of action and the Gran Torino is what the film is based on so that's why I suggested it . Not the most thrilling of films but quite a decent story I thought!

not sure if it fits into the brackets you mentioned but 'the departed' is a class film. well worth a watch.

Isn't district 13 that weird one thats got the fat bloke driviing the scooby and the parque street running shit in?! oh and the badly dubbed french / english ?

That's the one although I watched the subtitled version rather than the dubbed one. As for the action scenes some of the Pakour choreography is absolutely amazing
