I have a mate who actively goes driving on a night out with the intention of getting wasted then driving home. I keep asking her not to but she wont listen, and i know one day she'll have an accident or somthing and i'll have to pick up the pieces. Any one got any other ideas what to say to her to try make her understand that she shouldnt :/

If she's doing it on regular basis I would tell her stop, if she decides that she ain't going to listen to you; then I would phone the old bill.
Imo, drink drivers are scum. There is no need what so ever to put your own, other road users, pedestrians, passengers and anybody else who happens to be about at risk through doing something so irresponsible!

I've done it before, not proud of it one bit. There's not even a genuine reason for doing it.
Have lost friends in a car crash before now, it's the worst thing in the world.
Only thing that stops me now is thinking about losing my friends, would be fucking awful.

Let her keep doing it and she will soon crash and we can just hope that she gets paralyzed from the neck down, whilst still mentally aware so that you can sit next to her and say told you so you selfish mother fucker! Only kidding thats pretty sick but you get my drift

put it this way.
If you knew she was drink driving and you didnt do something to stop her and the following day you found out she's knocked down and killed your brother/sister how would you feel?
You need to do something mate.

She's a fucking idiot tbh. Hide her keys or grass on her. It's the only way. If she takes home another friend and crashes or wipes someone else out, are you going to live with the guilt of standing by and doing sweet FA about it?.

Got to be done. Don't let onto her that you will tell the police and no doubt you'll loose a friend, but you've got to tell them for the exact reason Rob said.

Yeah you read about it all the time in the papers. Some fanny crashes their car drunk and they usually survive but the passengers die. Then our shit hot justice system will give them about 2 years so that means they are out in a year.

Im sure your 9 times less likley to get stopped from drink driving than a male
Or is it 90 + % of drink drivers convicted are males? Eqautes to the same thing
Thats probably why she does it

But when reported, whats the actuall process?? Will they hunt her down (highly doubt that) or send a PCSO to her house to have a word? Or will it just be a note on her plate, that will flag up on ANPR
