This morning when I used the shower water started coming out of some small plastic outlet pipe behind the main one which the shower hose/head connects to.

I opened the unit up but don't know what I should be looking for to check for blockages or whatever?

I found a pic on the web of our shower unit:

Basically the water started leaking from the hose which says 11 (pressure relief device).

Do I need a new "shower can" (number 10)?

More descriptions of each part on http://showerdoc.co.uk/shower-spares/triton/biarritz.html where I got this information from.

11 says its a pressure relief device.

Ive never looked a shower in my life, but working on what i know from valves etc, i could either be too much pressure in the system, so its letting it out as a safety feature, or the valve could be faulty, and allowing a lower pressure through than it should?

I hope im right but i culd be terribly wrong
