Having a bit of a race down the A13 on the way to southend, and my speedo read around 100mph. I know my speedos about right Well, on the RR, in 4th, limiter was 101mph, and on the speedo it shows 99mph at the limiter). Racing along against my mate in his standard Gold TDi and his speedo rear 115-118mph.
Blatting it home last night, and the car was really motoring. I know the speedo says 110mph, but, other 1.4 16v owners, what spped does ur speedo read when the RPM is at 6000rpm?

I've been level on a dual carrage with a m8, mine was reading 10mph, his was 12mph he reckons.
I been rinsing my car this weekend, cos u lot told me it meant to be driven high up rev's, does feel quick, but its so loud, people think a concorde's coming up the road
6000mph mines prob about 10.7mph.

I could be lying and making it up as far as court goes. This post means nothing as far as evidence.
Anyway, back to the question.
Peoples speedo readings at 6000rpm in 5th, with wheel sizes please.

Talking of speedo's daimo, on the way back from Brighton the other night my speedo was reading 125mph and Half Pint's was reading 134mph. We were even so that has made me believe more that my speedo is correct. Cos if mine is out and there is a big difference like that between mine and Tony's then something is not right!
Tony has a Clio 16v by the way, and they don't cut in at 117mph

Yeah, but you said that with a 1.2 16v gearbox it would not reach more than 117mph. Remember?

ON A STANDARD 6620RPM LIMITER THE CAR WONT DO OVER 117MPH.
You do not have a standard limiter.

Ever heard of DISCLAIMERS ????? this site has one basicly outlining that it in no way condones any illeagal activity that may be posted on this site. written proof is all the pigs need to fine you and considering Diamo admitted racing (OFFENCE 1) and doing over a Ton (OFFENCE 2) id say they can be bastardz if they want to.
Look i aint avin a go weve all done it at sum point sum of us still do. Just though id pass on the bit of info ive been given thass all.

Sport, i understand you, but you also dont realise that its just a claim on a website and there is no formal evidence to back this story up. I can turn up and jsut say i made it up and the court couldn't carry on with charges.
Any police reading this willing to take me up on it, please be my guest. It wouldn't stand trial.

U really think the police have the time/money to catch people for spending by what they have written on the internet.
