I have an Hitachi 32 inch flat screen hd tv that i bought about 2 year ago. Its been fine since the other week where i switched it off by the plug and turned it back on 10mins later and it would not turn on. I tried everything to get it going again and nothing. 24 hours later it was magically working? This has happened another 3-4 times since probably every 4-5 days. It seems to take 10-24 hours to turn back on?
What is the problem? What can i try? Shall i open her up and take a look inside ?
Any leccy's in here that might be able to help or point me in the right direction?

i had exactly same issue with my old hitachi lcd, turns out it was a power inverter or inducer inside.
i fixed it by buying a new samsung.

Did you consider repairing it? Have any idea where i could get the parts? Might try replacing it myself.
