Had a brilliant day with my 1 year old newphew today, weather was good, cars were awesome and the drivers were more than friendly. Hope they come back again.

The porsche broke, he went to do a race start and crunch! had to roll down the hill backwards.
I have more pics but i the thread has enough. Johnston was the best i'd say, give it full chat all the time. The focus sounded the best though. Gutted i cant make Knockhill on Sunday though.
Excellent event, would recomend it to everyone, loads of free stuff, hats, posters etc.

I love BTCC. Its great that it so accessible for the public.
I've only got to 3 rounds this year due to work, but going to Rockingham in sept.

this is the whole reason btcc is up there with other racing series, so accessible and the drivers allways have time and take time to talk to there fans, (btcc fan boy alert )
had a great day, petty didnt see flash on the road/track roll on the weekend!

Tbh i loved it. I dont think any other race series would do a free event. Image the petrol cost, team imput, spare time. Some drivers just turned up to say hi and sign things.

Yeah...the drivers all seem genuinly nice guys. Probably because they are more "ordinary" than the F1 rich kids.
Matt Neal is even coming to a VXRonline meet!!! Nothing special, just a regional meet!!!
