Basicly i was wondering is it possible to burn mp3s on to cds and play them in a normal cd player, or do they have to be played in an mp3 player?
My mate seems to think you can, but i am not so sure, and my pc knowledge is pretty shite at the best of times

You can do it, but you have to convert them first to a format that a normal CD player can read. Programs like Nero do this automatically.

Just burn the mp3's using something like nero, it automatically uncompresses them to a wav file and burns the audio track just like a normal audio cd...
