im wating to build a little track fast road weapon, and use it for my everyday car.

i think cos i dont have a great income that a c20xe wud be the best choice.

theres quite a few corsa's and nova's with xe's already in and wont need much work, but im lost, its a dilema cos i jsut do not know which way to turn at all lol. need some guidance plox

there is plenty about mate, just need to look in right places, old person selling in local paper that sort of thing, wont really find them on autotrader or piston heads unless big bucks

true, well i did post a few days ago about a granny spec nova, it was a champagne colour with like pin stripes down the side lol, and it had green interior :S any ways 22k miles full vx service history for £300

but again i need to find a nice xe and pay my mate to put it in there lol

Nova is more raw, more track use. more parts

Corsa is softer, suits rallying and grass track better, but can be put on track with the right kit.

It'll probably always JUST be behined the nova though.

green interior tho tom lol, wt are those pinstripes all about they look oem lol ?

well ive had a redtop corsa but had to sell due to me loosing my job, and it wasnt realy the best lol......

does this look good for the cash??

You need to weld up the bay in novas unlike corsas, novas are a constant rust machine, mine got buggered after a year because it was at my mums beside the sea (salty sea air = rust) and the winter roads, small bubbles of rust turned into holes quite quickly
We need some of that stuff japan use.

i read something in a magazine about prewet salt there gunna use over here, which will be even worse lol

Nova is lighter so is a better base lol But will rot quicker lol

been through this a 10000 times dave, i decided against your 1.8 corsa so what. u sold it didnt ya mate. any ways thanks for the guidance, im going to go buy the granny spec nova

Im not bothered about my car, its sold.. I just find it funny that there are atleast two post a day that are you asking for info about a car that you are never ever ever going to buy..

ive got the money for the car i want, but i need to decide what to buy, maybe im not doing it how you would do it, but i dont havetransport atm so its quite hard to go look at cars. end of discussion

corsa is wider track therefore will handle better etc
