Next door have people round and they've parked half way over the end of our drive so my mum and dad can't get out They have to swap the cars over in a bit because my dad has to leave for work at about 6am tomorrow or something silly, and they obviously can't swap over with this inconsiderate idiot there.
It's not like they couldn't have parked further forward either.
AND to top it all off it's a "taxi to the kerb" example.
And before anyone says anything, we're half way through making a parking space on the garden for dad's car

You can easily get out of that, move your car.
But yes that would be annoying

It is worse than it looks, typical bad camera angle but it's all I could get out of my window
Probably could get out of there with some skillz, but 1) it's the principle that they shouldn't be stupid enough to park across our drive, especially twice in the same day and 2) I would rather go and cut the handbrake cable so that they might learn

To be fair, your car looks just as far from the kerb as theirs does

You could fit a bus through there and your car is as far from the kerb as there's?

Dad asked them to move it forward a second ago, they ended up driving off and turning round completely
Trust me, mine is closer than theirs. I'm only about 10cm away from the beigey coloured bit. Normally park closer but going out in a bit so didn't try too hard

fair enough you can get the car out that space, but how are you going to turn it without bumping up the kerb on the other side of the road?
people do this to me sometimes. when people have parties around here they park all shitty and i can hardly reverse into my space.
wish i had a shite car so i could just hit the other car and not care.

I'm not even going to comment
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Exactly what I was thinking but forgot to post
My mum thinks that the Civic is a massive car after coming from a Saxo to would annihilate the kerb

Note where his car is and where his neighbours drive across the road is. Irony?

true, but hey, i don't live down dave's road, so the road can actually be wider than it looks.
my road is quite wide and easy to manouver in. but when i drop my mate off after work, i have to go up peoples dropped kerbs as the road is narrow and not wide enough to do a 3 point turn in.

They seem to manage it easy enough
The whole point in making a space on the garden is so my dad can park there so I can go on the drive
They actually have a third car on the right of the Astra as well, so we figured it was kind of our turn

I'd be raging but you can get the car out of there no bother, without hitting the kerb.

Cars have a steering wheel. Make mulitple turns, or reverse out the easiest way (might be in the wrong direction) and then turn around at the end of the street. People are to quick to complain.
I get a LWB transit van do it to me, i just make a few more turns. I often argue with a bloke across the road, who is in the same posistion as the black corsa c, and daves would be mine for example.
He says he cannont get his fiesta out (when i have done it in a nissan navara, in the same situation, just as my house). Best thing is, he is retired, and the car doesnt move at all. I havent seen it move this year (no taking the piss either)
