Doubt a good drive would pleasure her
Plus she's driving (drink for me )
Place is called newport, 20mins from cardiff.
surely there has got to be some iconic places to visit, eat etc?

You could go to Cardiff, has quite a bit to see (castle, cardiff bay) if your into that sort of thing.
Oakwoods, pretty good, went there yesterday, but it's about 90ish miles from Newport.

North Wales for Scenary and stuff to do.
Mid Wales for nothing.
South Wales of a busier environment with plenty to do.
