Because we came third not second or first im just wondering if we might get some tough buggers in our group, but saying that the whole thing has changed hence the top three going straight to the group stages and the fourth having to qualify with the potential of getting other tough teams.

I think the draw is still the same, i.e. 8 groups, Pool A (top 8 sides) each go in one group, Pool B (next 8 sides) in each group, etc. And no clubs from the same country can go in the same group.

That makes absolutely no sense you clown

Edit: Unless you're saying the tie isn't dead yet I thought you were being WAY overconfident in Celtic's abilities but forgot to take out Arsenal, my bad

Should just be a straight knockout IMO. No seeding or owt.

Would make it more interesting, i'm getting a bit sick of seeing the same 16 teams in the latter stages every season.

The eight group-winners and eight runners-up of the group stage qualify for the second round. The clubs that finish this stage in third position in their group move into the third round of the current Europa League. The clubs that finish this stage in fourth position in their group are eliminated.

The draw for the 2nd round takes the following rules into account:
a) Clubs from the same association must not be drawn against each other,
b) The winners and runners-up of the same group must not be drawn against each other,
c) The group winners must not be drawn against each other,
d) The runners up must not be drawn against each other,
e) The runners up must play the first leg at home.
The group winners are seeded above the runners-up.

did you just edit that, or did I read it wrong?

And no, its a fact that 90% of your fans did not support you 5yrs ago, and the vast majority of chav sheep wannabes.

I didn't edit it. Yes you say that but I have supported for nearly 17 years now,and i'm not a chav. Chelski ok but Chavski is like annoying.

Can't agree on 90 percent though

Was some offical poll done somewhere, wasnt long back I saw it.

TBH it easily could be true as the support Chavski have bought over the last 5yrs is a joke.

Still, its not that much as you still cant breakeven.

60's, 70's and 80's actually. In fact even very early 90's before the PL came about.

Still, Ive watched us win 3 FA Cups, 3 League Cups, 1 UEFA Cup and 1 CL in my (after 6 ish) living life time.. Personally seeing 2 League Cups, 2 FA Cups and 1 CL (and one loss )

Not bad IMO considering we havent spent the £450 odd million I posted you lot had before.

Still spent a fair amount though at your club.

Since Roman took over we won two community shields, two carling cups, two fa cups, two premierleague titles, european cup final appearance and countless semi's, certainly happy with that. And obviously pre-Roman I saw us win league cups, fa cups, charity shields etc
