Is now a good time to borrow money?

Iv had 2 previously but for the past coupla years iv not had one and paid everything outright which is kinda a good feeling but im rarely going on on the lash etc to do so..i was lookin at big loans like 10k over 2 years and sainsburys bank only want 800 for that its tempting just not sure in the current climate.

i really want a Kit car for next summer and a golf gt tdi for a runabout am i just been stupid

Just get it done, you'll know best what you can comfortably afford each month!

Whether the lender will give it to you is another thing, try whatever bank you use, they might be more inclined to give you larger funds!!

10k over two years is allot a month. if you can afford the repayments i crnt see why you wouldnt go for it having a track car would be an expieriance.

i took out a 4k loan over 5 years and i crnt remember what i payed back but i lost my job.... needed a bigger over draft payed that off...... tbh it went out of control from there last time i looked i owed 8k only another 3 years payments i regret it now because i could have a morgage and be cmfortable

Thats a damn good deal tbh. I've just finished my loan from my bike. Feel rich as I've got an extra £350 a month Although thinking about getting another one as I want a van for work. 3 vehicles, hmm

£10k over 2yrs is going to be a min of £450 a month inc. interest.

If you think you can afford that and think your job is fairly secure then go for it.

if you buy a kit car remember you will need lots of spare cash to buy all the unforseens etc

Its over 2yrs, of course it'll be a good quote.

You'll get between 8-9% interest from a lot of vendors on that amount over that period.
