my mate brought one of these kits for his 5 door good piece of kit, im sure he extend'd the live from the main black box that comes with the kit, extend it and just run it straight to the battery

You cant splice into it by the fuse panel.

The hazard light has a constant power feed......
So you find out which fuse it is in the fuse panel then access the wire behind and use a scotchlock connector and splice the alarm wire into that.
