when driving im having a shithouse of a time getting it in gear espeacially second it takes all my effort to get it in second. but when the engine is off it goes into gear piece of piss. whats the problem? clutch,box,gear selecter?

Sounds like the clutch mate. Either it's on its way out or you may just need it adjusted.
