finally...a politician who knows politics! actually listens to what people want and doing exactly that. ignoring the crap that circulates and sorting it out. I sure as hell hope that this gets seen and followed. Wish he was going for PM...he would have my vote 100%.

He's just like any Yorkshire bloke, says what he thinks. That line "no need to parade about" is Northern wisdom at its best
The last mayor spent millions making a 'bus corridor' into the town & no one uses it. It just caused havoc for a few years & now there's about 20 sets of traffic lights on one road to allow the bus lane to snake across the main road  Same genius who said the Keepmoat Stadium didn't need a big car park as people would use public transport. If only he'd thought to check the bus routes that go near the place!
