Was just thinking.......... Has it been done? Is it on the market?
You know, like those push bikes with hydrauylic brakes........
May be no difference but at least accelerator cables will stop snapping.

Actually this is the Stupid "way women think" If women actually knew how car's worked they would know that Car Brakes need a vacum from the servo to operate without pumping the pedal......Push bike disc brakes have a sealed system so you pull the lever once and it activates the brakes without the need of a vaccum
Now, Not such a silly question is it if the new cars have it!

Car brakes dont NEED a vaccuum it just makes it easier to press.
And no the astra doesnt have a hydraulic accelerator it has a fly by wire one.
Hydraulic clutch yes but they first came about simply because they are easier to press.

I found out I'd been driving without a vacum for the last 6 months cos the vacumn pipe wasn't done up when the alternator was fited

Actually Drew i don't recall saying you NEED a servo!
Read my post carefully (i will highlight the areas you don't understand)
If women actually knew how car's worked they would know that Car Brakes need a vacum from the servo to operate without pumping the pedal

and you dont need to pump the pedal that would make it firmer you just need to use more effort.
