in for warranty work...again
front wipers have stopped working on me twice whilst it's been absolutely pissing down over the last 2 weeks and now the fastest setting takes about 30 seconds to cover 1 wipe on the windscreen
to add to that, my passenger door lock makes a loud buzzing noise when i set the alarm.
good old ford back to their best
they even tried to charge me 10 quid for a courtesy car, couldn't be bothered, so got to wait 'til tomorrow evening to get it back.
oh well, just need to refurbish the wheels then it's bye bye focus and hello cheap runabout for a couple years

keep money and phone bill
i just want to get a cheap car that i don't have to pay any monthly payments on and won't eat tyres every 6k
mk5 fiesta zetec s is top of the list right now, as i only want to spend about 2k max on something.

So your only bill is a phone bill and you have to sell the Focus ST. What do you do, wipe your arse on £20 notes?

yours will be fine mate, think it's just the facelifts that had a few problems. i bought mine when the new model was only a couple months old so bound to have had some bugs.
they are great fun when working properly though, they make 4pot motors sound like a wet fart.
had a traffic light grand prix with some old tit in his fancy lexus today, was so funny seeing a red dot in my rear view mirror disappear into the distance

indeed. need my own place badly.
12 year old brother and sister in the same house as me and my missus means we don't get much sleep, especially as i'm only 3 shifts, so it affects my work performace a bit too.

Well he said he earns near £37k a year. His only outgoings is a phone bill and £700 a month for the focus. I don't see how he can't save and keep the focus.

Have days now & then when I feel like selling mine & getting a runabout, could really use the cash just now for the new house to make it mint...........then I go for a drive & fall back in love!!
Cost a small fortune this month alone....couple grand been thrown at it just for service & consumables!!

People forget you need a massive deposit on houses these days, for an £100k house you will need at least £20k cash in your bank to pay the deposit.

Ive not, currently have my hefty deposit sat waiting on the house getting built that i'd much rather spend on a 996 GT3

So much for BMW reliability though. Alternator went on dad's and hadn't even covered 30k miles. The door trim fell down in the heat too.

Reliability's fine on it......only had 2 duff parking sensors so far which are covered by warranty (although I have to pay & claim back).
Recent/forecast expenses are:
2yrly brake fluid/aircon service - 150
Road tax - 220
Tyres - 300-500 (still to get them)
Parking sensors - 400 all in (to be claimed back off warranty people)
Inspection II - 967 (booked for 4 weeks time).
Alot to shell out when there's a new house to think about, will need to put Jade out on the street corner soon!!

Ben mate it all changes when you get a house mate
Hence why we have a new kitchen instead of an M3! Nice kitchen though and nothing compares to having your own place
