I don't even follow Scotland but you have to say they deserved far better after that performance but there we go. Even I felt a wee bit of pride when they came off

You don't follow Scotland?

Are you an immigrant? Or are you just one of those Celtic fans who are disloyal to their country and follow Ireland?
I'm a die hard Celtic fan with a family from to Ireland but that's no excuse for not following the country you were born and raised. Sorry if I'm being a bit prejudiced btw

I dont follow England and I was born and raised here.
I think a lot of people dont actually follow their own country and couldnt give two shits on the outcome.

Me too, I watch England when they're on and want them to do well. But I'd rather watch United.
During the last WC I was just thinking of the new season and wasn't that down when we went out, I was drunk and carried on drinking afterwards!

Also, I reckon Scotland were very unlucky last night. If we had a decent striker and not the wee hobbit Kenny Miller up front. But the damage was done at Hampden against Norway, and the away game against Macedonia.
Euro 2012 though

Thats not unlucky, thats having a shite team
Unlucky would be losing out by someone diving (probably an Arsenal player) even though you deserved to win.

Not really, goal disallowed wrongly, hit the bar, hit the post and tbf we have better finishers than Kenny Miller.

Thats because your club is full of diving badgers and you're lucky that none (well one) play for your country.

I follow England, and I've been to see them play. However, I get far more joy from Luton scoring then I do England.

Everytime.
I used to follow England quite closely, been to over 30 home games and done around 5/6 away games but over the last few years i've become more & more disinterested with the national team.
I think playing for the national team isn't seem in the same light as it was 10/15 years ago. The players dont really seem to care as much as they used to (especially in the friendlies) ticket prices are now extortionate, we play against teams that on the whole have no chance of beating us and its a more a case of how many will we score rather than if we are going to win or not. The atmosphere inside Wembley is about as exciting as watching Leeds United and the crowd is generally full of "new age" types who dont really have a clue.
I'll still do the odd away game now (went to the Holland match the other week) but I now mainly go for the few days away, and the match is a secondary thing.
No England win or goal comes close to a Huddersfield one, and while i'd never want England to lose, I dont lose any sleep over it when we do.
I cant understand anyone wanting the national team wanting to win rather than thier own club team.

why do people blame the managers all the time when they dont even play. they pick the best of the players but they are still nowhere near as good.
doesnt matter if its sir fergie managing, scotland will never be up to the standards of the dutch.
