Im trying to connect to live but having some problems.
I have put the eithernet cable into my modem and into my 360 but its saying it cant find it!
Am i doing it wrong ?
Its going ito the modem as i dont have wireless!

i think i had some problems with the cable and the wireless when i first started using each. what are you doing on the xbox to set it up? i think there is an automatic way of it setting it up when using the wire.
for the wireless you have to create some sort of password for connecting to it, that way others cant connect unless they know the pass.

Is the modem giving the Xbox an IP?
Run the connection test from the Xbox, and it'll say what the problem is, or is likely to be.

no its not giving the IP, its says that when i tries to connect
