I've lost the AV lead for my original xbox when I moved and found a cheap one on the bay, but it is listed for a 360. Anyone know if the two are interchangeable? I really don't play it enough to justify buying a 360 so no need!

No, different connections.
Get yourself to GAME, GameStation or CeX, they'll have plenty in stock for a couple quid.
