I can see this getting interesting so thought he should have his own thread

Just read that he is facing a 6 match ban

I can't see City being affected too much with the other forwards they have, but I'm sure all Arsenal fans will be hoping!

Can't be 6 matches, surely.

I'm not saying he didn't stamp on RVP, but it can't be proven, and the celebration, surely that should be 2 games maximum, although Neville got a £5k fine for celebrating in front of the scousers, and no games ban.

Man City will be bothered, Robinho, Tevez and Santa Cruz are all out injured for a few weeks

I think the proof of the stamp is inserted on van Persie's face tbh Oh and 3 camera angkles that I've seen too

Like I said Robbo, i'm not saying he didn't stamp on him, but you'll struggle to prove it was intentional. It's his word against everyone else really.

Depends on whether the FA want to shit on him or not imo

Well theres the tackle, which is being investigated and then theres his taunting of the fans which could have caused a riot.

I think theres a lot there to be considering.

Yeah, its not the celebration as both Gary neville and Thierry henry have been done for that kind of thing ebfore its more the inciting the opposition fans (who should be bollocked too, hurling a chair isnt acceptable) by runnign THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE PITCH to celebrate in front of

Most peopel dont celebrate when playign against former clubs

Not sure where he gets all this unloved bullshit form two, yes we thought he was a useless sack of shite but he was never booed etc like he seems to make out, maybe do an eboue and turn things around instead of sulking u uselss cunt

Inciting the fans is an offensive. And that's exactly what he did. Our Captain got a 5 (FIVE) match ban for much less than what Adebayor did.

You forget Nath though, we're only a lower league club. What applies to Luton doesn't necessarily apply to the Premier League......

He should be given a medal for that celebration. Most active i've ever seen the Arsenal fans.

If I were a player i'd be doing stuff like that every week

I'm waiting for Arsene Wenger to get his violin out again like he did after we beat them and like he did after Eduardo cheated in the Celtic match

Eboue got far more shite than Lazybayor ever did and he just got on with it and proved himself.

Tbh the arsenal fans did turn into nutters but what would you expect. If I had been in with that lot not eating prawn sandwiches i'd have been down at the front giving him shit. Not sure I would have fought stewards or police or thrown objects though!!

Tbh part of me was hoping half a dozen got onto the pitch and chased him back down it again.
That would have been funny. Adebayor sprinting back down the pitch with 20-30 angry Gooners after him!!!

1st camera angle clearly shows his foot moving back towards Van Persie and stamping down.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-c4A5UxzrCg

hope the prick gets banned for ages, not just fined. not premier league footballer cares about fines.

He deserves a ban for his celebration.

He deserves a ban for his stamp.

Arsenal deserve an away support ban for the way they reacted.

used to have alot of respect for adebayor, after the AC milan saga where he apparently was offered a contract then had to walk back into an arsenal dressing room after publicly saying he was off.

earned his place back and started scoring. but as soon as man city came in for him, he fucks off blatently cos of the money.

i have lost all respect for this guy. not just cos of the stamping but more cos of the fans part. everyone knows how passionate football fans are and thats just putting fuel to the flame.

Agreed, but utterly pointless because any ban will only be revoked a la Eduardo
