Yeah you start from the start again.
Done it 2/3 times now, I forget. Its not too bad if you can get a decent score every game

You get the excitement of un-locking it all again. Which gives you more skill on more guns. Which means you are better than those that sit at 65

I used to think this whilst playing COD4, but since moving in with my mate and playing it all the time, it's given us something to play for now.. just the challenge of earning the ranks again and playing with shit guns. I'm not interested in the badge, I just enjoy the thrill of earning the challenges again etc.. keeps us glued to it now. Plus its more satisfying playing my other mates online.. killing them with SHIT guns and then picking up their good ones

Aye the only reason I ever leveled up on COD4 was if I got bored and needed a challenge again! On 5, I'm on 50-odds just now so I'll not be clicking that prestige button before MW2 arrives
