The 2.0 16v engine weighs 145kg, maybe a bit more for the turbo engine? Its a lot of increased weight. Make sure you get a good suspension setup/brakes if you do the conversion.

ha ha! You wana put a 2.0 Turbo in your Corsa then put 18's on! The handling would be cack, stick with 15's.

285mm And those ones are pants. Hi-Specs 5 min down the road from me in Dartford (01322 number). I popped in there last saturday for some quotes.
I'd spend £600 (bit over) on the split effect diskss (300mm) and much better 4pot calipers. Same as what Adams got. The inner part of the disk is golden annodised, matches the calipers. Looks fannytastic.
Much much better. Im gonna try to get some kinda deal on some calipers.

The turbo engine is a fair bit heavier, turbo's aint light to start with!
What on earth is a rear lower strut brace? There is a anti roll bar there!
Id want a roll cage to stiffen things up really. Can get perfectly good brakes under 15's if you are going into 4 pots. Cally Turbos/vectra v6's are only 288mm and they are a much heavier car

aye, pedal feel on the corsa on the V6 brakes is terrible though. I wouldn't advise em. Better off to get some top notch 4 pots (a LOT lighter) plus the disks n calipers look 50,000,000,000x better

but cost "50,000,000,000x" more.
I agree though, pedal feel aint to hot with my V6's. I've got a bigger servo to go on which should help.

YEah, i think its really hard to fit a bigger servo in the corsa. No room in there.
Cost a lot more, but then u pay for the quality, looks etc.
Just like a leather install. U can get it done for £x punds and have a 1/2 decent re-trim, or you can pay £xxx punds and get a Carisma/Eccosse retrim which is far far better, looks better, fits better, but is more expensive.
U get what u pay for.
Dammit, everything on modded cars is too expensive

thanks everyone for the advice
but i don`t understand why 15`s would be better for handeling over 18`s
and i want sum big ass wheels coz at the min ive got 16`s and i can only go 60mm low and u cant get a match box under the front bumber
why not brembo`s i got told they where the dogs ?

Adam you still on the same servo with your 4 pots? I'm looking to upgrade mine now.
Daimo/craig I bought my callipers and discs second hand. Was about £370 in total which is a fair bit cheaper than new. Might be worth considering? New pads and Hoses.
I likek the golden bit on those discs. Mine is rusting there. Same prob on my mates Scooby. I might have to sort summet out it's looking cack at the min

I got greenstuff pads from chrimbo, but not putting them on till i get my new disks
Then save up £400 for some Hi-Spec 4 pot calipers

Don't forget that Wilwood do some tasty drop-forged 4-pots and discs for around £500 for the kit (to include pads and braided hoses). Not as nice looking as the Hi-Spec stuff but popular with the clubman/rally boys and just as capable
