Its in the help section for a reason mate, thats what its there for.

And blanking the EGR does help with engine responsiveness and economy, your basically shoving all the shit back into the car

EGR is only open upto around 1.7k rpm, its closed during WOT

Blanking it does absolutely fuck all to engine performance, the only reason its done is because they play up and can cause EML light to come on from time to time. That and emissions during idle for various regs such as MOT and other bollocks.

I thought they switch off when up to operating temp too?
