Dropped from the squad and sent home for the game against Pompey

Apparently had a bit of a wrestle with MON but he is only saying it was a bit of verbal.

If it was me Id of punched MON's face like I was a Russian with a hammer, annoying cunt that he is.

I think he is a great player.

Would suit a team like Everton imo.

O'Neill is an old man, Reo Coker is the only one that comes away looking like a cunt.

Reo Coker is a good player, but Martin O'Neill could sell him for an (obviously inflated being English) inflated price, then find a replacement as he is a great manager imo.

I like NRC and he's improved alot since joining the club. He was on fire at the beginning of last season, even scored a few goals but then he didnt get a look in. This season, he's started off well once again however there's been a strange feeling between him and MON and it didnt surprise me when I heard that there was a bust up earlier in the week

I think he'll go... and I'll be gutted as he is 120% committed to the course and works he ass off in every game. MON seems to hold grudges i.e. theres still a weird relationship between him and Carew ever since Carew was caught at the Rocket club the night before our games against Ajax. I can see the same happening with NRC

oh well... who ever gets him will be getting a very good midfielder

I blame MON for having a great (England quality) central midfielder and playing him at RB for a season.

I blame MON for signing Nigel 'I hold onto the ball too long so that when I run into trouble and eventually do need to pass it everyone is marked or offside' Reo-Coker.

I blame MON for taking an average Celtic side to a European final and an average Villa side to being a top 6 team.

He's a top drawer manager.

Average Villa side?

He has spent more net in the last few seasons than the vast majority of teams around him.

Teams around him?

He's spent decent money this season to supplement a squad which utilised less players over a season than any other side in the Premiership yet finished up at the top.

He has spent more net since Villa were bought by that American than any of the top 4 - fact.

the thing with o'neill is he spends 10m here and 10m there and it all adds up but goes largely under the radar... where as the other clubs spend 15m once and thats their summer...

off the top of my head:
young
milner
delph
davies
downing
cuellar

talking about 60-70m worth of players there alone

Plus how much is he going to get for Young and Milner when the top 4 come knocking? A hell of a lot more than he spent, that's for sure!

Villa need to resist the offers if they are ever to make it.

Young is worth over double what they paid already and Milner looks to be flying recently and will be an England regular before long. That's clever player purchasing.

Exactly.

He buys young talent and helps them show their full potential, thus making them worth (at least) £15m each.

I was so glad when the wee Irish bastard left Celtic. If one thing infuriated me more than being beaten by them, it was his wee jump whenever they scored

FLOL

His little 1ft of the floor jump where he throws both arms up in a rigid motion, only then to walk back to the bench!
