Is it just me or is J.Cole seriously overrated ?

Many think of this pacey footballer with so many tricks and flicks who can 'unlock defenses' yet since 05/06 season for us he has been very poor and seriously injury prone.

I think he's a good player but so overrated.

No he isn't, he is a very good player but like you say had a few injuries of late.

When he finally gets fit and a run of games you will wish you never posted this.

Well not really because that would mean he is doing well for Chelsea

I unlike many Chelsea fans think he is vastly overrated.

And no, Cole is a brilliant player. He'd walk into most, if not all, PL teams.

You fooooools you fooooools

Just because he plays for Chelsea doesn't mean I can't be honest. I just think he's so overrated, many Chelsea fans think he's a god and 'oh we have missed him so much' but over the recent few seasons he has done virtually bugger all.

He was England best player at the World Cup and the following games, he was the only player that would actually get hold of the ball and dribble forward rather than passing backwards.

It's going to take him a few months to get going but he should be in the England squad in the new year.

Hes good, but he is also a one trick pony. Does more stepovers in a game than Ronaldo.

very good player who has never found his "right" postion and therefore is fitted in round established players with well known positions

You can't play if you're injured, being injured doesn't mean you're a bad player.

When he is fit I think he is a fantastic player, his movement and skill can wrong foot most defenders, also it is very rare to find a very skillful English player, someone with a bit of flair and confidence, that needs nurturing tbh as the last player of that calibre was Paul Gascoigne.

You're just bumming him because Pele said the only English player playing today with the technique of a Brazilian is Joe Cole!

I wasn't actually aware of Pele saying this, Joe Cole is wank! Happy?

Yes

PELE reckons Joe Cole has the skills of a Samba star. But Brazilian legend Pele insists the England and Chelsea midfielder needs to learn when to pick his moments. The three-time World Cup winner said: “Joe Cole is a very good player. He has the skills of a Brazilian but he needs to learn when to show the skills and when to play the simple game.

That was from 2006, seems like last month

He has a valid point IMO, he does over-do the stepovers a bit and that's what fucked his knee up IIRC, he did a silly trick and his knee went one way and his leg went the other.
